Whitby in our VW Campervan - Part 1

I’ve got one of those big Thermos flasks for my van hot water ( y’know those big push top ones they always have for coffee at work business meetings and corporate events!) Fill it up with boiling water and it’s stays warm for a couple of days. Ideal for hand washing 😊That’s my vanlife tip of the day 😝

Thanks for the tip! That’s a really good idea! Normally the lack of hot water doesn’t bother us, but when your hands have lamb grease on them, some hot water really helps to shift it 😂 Thanks so much for watching again 👍🏻

We thought it was a great site👍🏻They were really struggling with the weather when we were there though. The ground was so boggy and they were having to site caravans for people to try and protect the ground. It’s really handy with the bus stop right outside. A great base to explore Whitby. Hi guys Whitby is beautiful so glad you shared Can I ask how you find the transporter, do you find it a bit small as it's a toss up between the t5.1 swb or even lwb or crafter Both have pros and cons

Hi 👋🏼 Glad you enjoyed the Whitby video :) We find the transporter suits us really well for the most part. We have to sleep in the pop top to make it work with two large dogs though. It’s really down to personal preference. We wanted something that would fit on our driveway and be useable as a daily driver as well. You could daily drive something bigger, but obviously it’s not quite as easy to park etc. Even a LWB transporter would have overhung our driveway, so we opted for the SWB and we love it!
