I live 45mins from whitby and its my go-to place for a good day out a the beach plenty to do ...plenty of boats you go for a 20min trip out to sea for as little as 5£ per person in todays world we live in thats an absolute bargain miles better than redcar saltburn etc etc great footage

I was nearly blown off my feet the night before when I left Long Kings Restaurant. I had to wedge myself against its carpark wall while my husband brought the car across to me.

It's very windy in that area for sure. WHATS MAD IS I WAS On the sea wall and there was no wind at all. Then up onto cliff top and could hardly stand up.

Added to the wind was a spring tide due to a full moon. Had it been a new moon it would have been even higher spring tide. . Adds a gravity to the situation?
