Great video Jayson, We use a 2-105 open station, A 2-105 with a cab, A 6510 and A 8510 along with A 1650 , a 1850, a 1855. (I also own a Oliver 550 and a Cockshutt 550 built in Brandford Ontario, These two are both 1959 models) Used in tillage, Haying and Forage work. Thanks for sharing!

Dad has a Grey stripe 2-135 that he bought new in 81'. I thought maybe it was old stock but this spring I did a fan motor up top and it's stamped up there Mar 03 81'.

Wow, that series 3 2-135 is so iconic to the era lol. Definitely looks like an 80’s era tractor with the all silver paint scheme. Reminds me of another 80’s iconic item, the DMC Delorian with its all stainless body. That straight stack on it really makes it sound like a beast of a tractor, unlike new tractors today, they’re as quiet as a new Cadillac car!

@@IG10705 I’m sure I would probably like the electronics a little more if I had a tractor that had it, but all of our tractors are 1983 and back lol. I’m just happy to have mechanical gauges that work lol. The rest of the tractor the simpler and more mechanical the better!

I run a white 2-135. It pulls a black machine planter, 500 bu grain cart, 7 shank chisel plow and disc rolling basket tillage tool. I also side dress urea with it. In addition we use the white to run a hesston 4570 square baler.

I never seen a lot of the White Farm Equipment tractors but have read a good bit of information on them. That 478 cubic inch diesel was introduced back in the 1960s by Oliver.

The WFE tractors were well built. The paint held up so so. The silver tractors were 40% Oliver from the engine up through 1987. Then the switched to Cummins engines.

You are in luck I just posted a video of this planter seeding soybeans in the 15ft 13 row 15 inch mode at kzbin.info/www/bejne/nn2mdquAetiipq8si=1iTGZcjIzq-QpC3E This planter design was introduced in 1984 under the Black Machine brand name and was acquired by AGCO in 1985. It folds from 30ft to 15ft with the outside 3 rows folding back behind the 6 center rows. It plants 13 rows 15 inch’s and transports in the same configuration as you will see in the liked video.

I have no idea what the farming equipment trends in GB/UK are now but I left there and farming 30something years ago. I recently started watching farming on KZbin and noticing the dually wheels everywhere here/US. I used dual rear back wheels over a bit when I needed to grip the side of hills with my, then, FIAT 780- in one of 'my' fields a FIAT 880 4wd did run away and wreck. I understand duallies will give you better grip and/or less compaction, where as where I came from, back then, would have used them for not falling over or taking off. I am currently in RI and I see next to nothing in the way of farm equipment but when did the windfall of cash start happening for tractor tire sales start in the US?

Thank you for watching Noe. The Massey Corn Planter traces its roots to the White Corn Planter line. This planter was originally built by Black Machine in Vinton, Iowa. AGCO acquired the company and merged it with White. I have a Black Machine planter filmed for a future video this spring.

​​​@@bigtractorpower today I sowed 12 hectares of corn in Alsace with a farmer friend who only has old equipment imported from the US I sowed with a white 4-225 and international 12 seeder and I love the sound of the caterpillar coming from 4-225 if I'm not mistaken the previous owner of this tractor was in the center of Iowa and had re-engined it if I remember This tractor is my top five beast old gen tractor once again thank you for your information it is thanks to you and also to my information that I really know all the stories of the American tractor brands of this friend operator I really appreciate all your videos almost 4 years I have been following your videos for that there was covid

We still use a 2-135 and a 2-155. Once and a while a 20ft white cultivator comes out but not very often.

We had a 2-135 and a 2-155. When we had the 2-135 rebuilt, they had the injector pump gone through and set at 10% over. It put out 177hp on the dyno.

I dont think its a series 3, maybe a series 2. It doesn't have the fiberglass roof with marker lights molded in.
