White 5100 No-Till Corn planter Overview

5100’s are good planters, very good seed placement and pretty cheap to repair. One drawback is they don’t handle rocky ground real well. The units can get bent from hitting rocks but otherwise I always liked them

I always thought White made good planters. I used to have a 7000 with liquid fert and minimum till/no till coulters. I did a bit of no till into sod with it, seemed to work ok. I hated the liquid fert, never liked handling the stuff, could never get the squeeze pump set to suit me.
