You need to use the business card method to determine whether the disc openers are set properly.

I put an 1 1/4” or 1 5/16 socket on those depth adjusters and freed them up with my impact.

It will be rewarding to complete the renewal process...getting to the end can try your patience!!! A lot less frustrating if it's not GO time, but better to get it now than have a trail of parts in the field.

I do believe there is a bushing rebuild kit for the gauge wheel arms. I just can't remember who sold them.

all lknow is the money you are spending on the White planter and doing the same thing to our white 6 row and later on our 12 row JD 7000 planter. the planters deserve a good dry shed. the way parts have gone up its a big investment let alone the you spent!!! l will be watchin!!! the time you spent see l cant type and chew gum at the same time!!!!

Get those depth adjusters set correctly. You do not want to plant seeds as deep as the missing-in-action boomer.

The paint coating could be BUY did you get the original disc or the thicker HD one !?

It’s 15 inch rows, but the units are 30 inches apart because they’re on two different bars.
