White-browed Sparrow-Weavers Building a Breeding Nest

These birds live in colonies of 6-12 birds, and build their nests in a single tree. They will eat insects, seeds, seed pods and even leaves. However, as you can see in this video, only the dominant pair will breed, doing so up to four times per year. Breeding is not affected by the seasons, and other members of the colony will help with parenting.
