Good morning Amy, it’s been awhile since I’ve commented but I love these kinds of treats for my family! So good! This year was first year I haven’t been able to make treats for our Christmas and it sure broke my heart.. I love to make and give it away. I was down in the back/ sciatica and still having issues but better. I did have a wonderful Christmas with family and I hope you, John and your sweet family had a wonderful Christmas as well. Buy you some "Better than Bullion " jars to keep on hand for broth. I always keep the beef & the roasted chicken in the pantry. Once open you have to refrigerate but its convenient & actually taste better than store bought broth! Merry Christmas!

Hey Amy, I’ve been making this ever since you first shared thie recipe. It is a BIG hit with everyone. My mom really loves it so I’ve started making it for her birthday. I have actually used Cinnamon Toast Crunch instead of the Chex mix and that’s real good too. Anyway, thanks for sharing this. Really enjoy all your videos. 💜

@@amyslouisianakitchen I really hope you do try the cinnamon toast crunch. I do use more than I would with the chex mix as they are much smaller. I think the next time I make it I will use pecans instead of nuts. I think that would be really yummy with the cinnamon. 😋

this is the first ive heard of this kinda bark... I am making mine with corn chex, rice chex, honey nut cheerios, red n green holiday m&m's and regular snyder's mini pretzels... I love the almond bark chocolate for any kinda deserts or dipping etc... i'm not big on white chocolate but i am doing the white chocolate almond bar for this along with ghirardelli white baking chips which I have never had this brand / kind of chocolate at all in my life the chocolate or white chocolate... I watched this video of yours and the one from 3yrs ago when you did this recipe i just call it Christmas Bark lol... i'm also making no bake chocolate covered peanut butter balls, chocolate covered pretzels, dirt and another new treat this year no bake mint oreo truffles so im super excited to make up these fun treats this year with my little one :^) .... thank you so much for sharing your recipe and doing your videos i so enjoy watching them and listening to your life's stories god bless you n your family... I'm going to try and make this. My family isn't a fan of chex cereal but I love it. Crazy thing. After i watched your updated video, your old one preceeded to play. It actually looked better with all that white chocolate covering the cereal. im sure it is all good

Okay girl. You can use chocolate cake mix instead of the from scratch cake. You still mix the cream cheese filling. And the chocolate Ganache is, the same. Those 2 steps are quick though. In the chocolate cake mix add a teaspoon of vanilla, an extra egg and coffee instead of water. Or half coffee and half Buttermilk. It is also delicious and I have made that cake many times and nobody knew😊 except not for Blake's birthday. Always scratch for my kiddos birthday. Hope this helps you. Merry Christmas 😊🎄💜
