I was disappointed to find out that this is not the full movie as it states. They are only bits and pieces of the movie. I love this movie. Watched it as a kid every Christmas with the my family. The best Christmas movie ever. It still brings tears to my eyes. Great actors, well chosen.

My kids and I would watch the film in our little cabin in NorCal watching the snow fall and drinking hot chocolate. I watch this with my daughter who is now 7 at least 3 times every year. By far my favorite Xmas movie. Seeing the WW2 Vets reunite always has a special place for me since the real ones are almost all gone now and the only reunions going on are in heaven.

I first heard White Christmas by Bing Crosby when it came out in the mid 1940s. Later Rosemary Clooney recorded it. Since then , for me, White Christmas by Rosemary was Christmas. Boy! I really miss her. Every Christmas Season I manage to watch that movie and the memories it brings are unreal. Thanks Rosemary !

My parents took me to see the movie that this scene is from when I was 14 years old. I believe it was called “White Christmas”. No one sang White Christmas like Bing Crosby. I believe his recording of the song has sold more records than any other. Irving Berlin composed it. He also wrote “God Bless America”. What a great composer he was!!!

Christmas is just around the corner this year too though we are in the midst of very difficult time due to Covid-19. 1950`s when "White Christmas" was released were the most beautiful time for Americans. The United States looked prosperous, generous and liberal to people all over the world. Americans didn`t experience the humiliation of the Vietnam War and the traumatic experience of 911 yet. Many young Japanese people dreamed to lead an affluent life like Americans at that time. But the United States have changed a lot since them. Americans are facing rigorous challenge from China, losing confidence, and callous to other people. This lovely movie reminds us of good old days in America.
