I have a beautiful silk floss tree. It grew from a seed that must have blown in. I haven't seen any others in town. It must have come from far away. Now that it is larger, it is developing a pagoda shape with branches in tiers like a Norfolk Island Pine.

In the summer, this same tree blooms white silk tufts that looks like cotton.

In our culture, this tree is a betrayal tree because of its dangerous spikes! If you do bad things, the saint will tell you to climb until satisfied...it’s torturing! Only for bad human that goes to hell, but, not everyone believes the same.🤨 Thank you for this video, I always thought this spiked tree would never exist. Awesome! I learn something new today!

This is not a white silk tree! A white silk floss tree actually has white to yellow flowers! I have a few! Sorry!
