Now I know what I looked like when I tipped the cab on my 1990 white/GMC/Volvo. Lol had butterfly's. You had the safety latch in your hand, pull that pin and it falls down. The cab will go a lot further just make sure nothing can fall through the windshield. Your fire extinguisher and triangles won't stay put either. Keep an eye on the throttle linkage, bent the crap out of mine. Nice looking truck.

Thanks Dennis I wasn’t sure how much further it would go it felt like it was going to fall too far forward. I’ll Put the pin in there and see how it locks in place thanks for the advice and thanks for watching my video

Nice rare truck, i have had white trucks in uk for 40yrs, we have recently removed cat 3406a from a 1978 road commander 2 and fitted silver 8v 92 silver, and ten year newer cab, similar to yours.

Yep agree, safety catch is at the front end of the RH tilt cylinder @5.18. Pull pin out and swing down onto ram. Just like Kenworth K100.

That pice with the pin in it that you said can’t be it is it. Pull the pin and it folds down to the ram. Plus you don’t need the strap those rams have constant pressure in both sides so when you pump you just circulating the oil.

I think I got it now it looks like a small type of bracket with the pin is but I guess it’ll work and no more straps thank you

Hi Trent thanks for the interest in my truck I’m not sure about values but I paid 17 K for my truck. I Think I got a pretty good deal the truck is really clean and it runs great and buying from a dealer made it easier for shipping for me. I really wanted a Kenworth or Peterbilt Cab over but the prices were just too high. and I like different things and you don’t see many white GMC‘cab over trucks anymore. let me know how you make out I’d love to see some pictures of it thank you

Lose the ratchet strap if you don’t cab goes forward you’re gonna take the grab handle at the top of the cab right off your truck
