Despite what people think just because it had spring suspension doesn't mean it rode rough, my 1975 freightliner rode good my 1978 Pete cabover you could set a cup of coffee on the doghouse never spill any had a 88 freightliner air ride would beat you to death ,alot of things attributed to the way they rode

Yep. 8v72 Detroit. Prob about 318 horsepower if it does not have a turbo. 350 horsepower if it does have a turbo. Cool motor but a bit slow compared to the new modern engines.

I always liked the old school Freightliner paint schemes, and teamed with my favorite engine sound, 2 stroke Detroit.

Love old cab overs in the 80s they where everywhere now non existent lol my fave is a Kenworth k100 areodyne bunk. Rode in a couple as a kid my Uncle drove one blue in color

Cool truck. Crazy how the whole engine/trans is under the cab completely. On my international 4070 the bellhousing of the trans starts at the back of the cab. Bet the detroit would sound good with no exhaust.

Was this an old TTR Transport truck? I ran a Freightliner COE for a company out of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada with those exact green stripes. Mine was a mid 90's with a super 10 transmission. Loved that old truck.

After I saw the cast aluminum valve covers I knew that ole freighty was a 92 series great motor I think it was the best last 2 stroke detroits made

It is about 10 minutes north of Liverpool Pennsylvania on route 104. It sits on the left if you're going north just before the Snyder County line.

Big bunk rare, my guess it is a late 70's to early 80's.

That's my guess. It has round headlights but isn't a "White" Freightliner with that motor definitely puts it in that time range.

To be truthful, I have no idea. Unfortunately, it is not mine. Scrap price could be $2000 or more. I really don't know what the hundred weight would be. 😕
