I like the way AJ handled this situation,see even though he was being treated unfairly he still kept his composure and still respected him, even though some people don’t deserve our respect we still have to extend them grace, just because we may get treated unkind doesn’t mean we should treat them the same way,two wrongs don’t make a right,the moral of this story is, treat others how you expect to be treated even if you don’t get treated kindly don’t stoop to their level, rise above it and give them kindest any ways, we don’t know what that other person is going through so always no matter what , extend them grace, always,Praise God and God Bless everyone!🙏🏽❤️

do you and all of us HATE IT when employers post up banners, signs saying "help wanted" or "hiring", yet, those who DO apply (because they WANT TO WORK) dont get the job because some stupid picky racist human resources person is so damn choosy to find the "perfect candidate" to make the HR person shine. for example, in reality, the workshop I used to work for, was laying off workers cuz they plan to shut the plant down. this very popular local air carrier sent an HR team to interview workers who were interested in working for them (HA). I later found out that they had interviews, yes......BUT at the end, did not hire ONE SINGLE PERSON, who btw....those that I worked with, were very hard workers! Now, with my job.....when I go to this carrier (HA) to do deliveries to the cargo section, instead of serving me immediately, they all are talking story, hanging out with each other....one is practicing his golf swing.....told a security agent "sheesh....this place reminds me of a state govt office....nobody cares to give me help".

Until affirmative action, discrimination such as this was just this blatant. Folks who kick against affirmative action legislation just don't realize just how bad things were in the good ole U.S. of A. With Affirmative Action, it still exists, but they are a lot more subtle with it. Still last hired, first fired. Still not allowed to take advantage of opportunities others take for granted as a part of their white privilege. Still have to be over qualified for jobs a white high school graduate can get with no experience. "That job has been filled." "The apartment or house has been rented." We know the drill all too well. Zangries - Forgiveness does not have to be extended on the spot, nor does it have to be done publicly. Forgiveness can be a process and can take time. Too many Black people think it must be done right away. We saw this in the courtroom during Dylan Roof’s bond hearing just a day or two after he was apprehended. The victims’ family members were present, and the very first one to speak said, “ I forgive you...” Really? That quickly, without anytime for reflection or allowing what happened to sink in, she was able to do that, and she had to do in a public forum. Even if that’s what she really felt, that could have been something between her and God. We are particularly forgiving when it comes to white people, but not with our own. We’ll hold decades-old grudges against one another. It was also on display when Brandt Jean (Botham Jean’s brother) hugged Amber Guyger and wished that she not have to go to jail. It was cringeworthy.
@sharonsmalls68463 жыл бұрын
@@MrOu83 If you don't speak it you won't begin the process. If you don't forgive right away your heart will become hardened and it will take longer. Mature Christians (those on meat) know to place that demon where it belongs immediately. Christians who are on milk don't understand that we wrestle with principalities and there are different levels of demonic warfare. Once you begin the process of speaking life (it is not name it and claim it), you will see you're in God's perfect will. Many Christians are willing to live in His permissive will. They are led by the fivefold ministry and not The Holy Spirit. They don't know how to crucify their flesh and are led by their emotions, they feel a certain way about a situation.
@MrOu833 жыл бұрын
@@sharonsmalls6846 - Where in the Bible does it say you must proclaim it out loud, in public, one or two days after it happens? It doesn’t. Because it’s more about your healing than it is about the perpetrators’s healing or redemption, you do not have to tell him or her that you are forgiving said person. Proclaim to yourself, proclaim it to God. It does not need to be a public spectacle.

That happened to me when I went to the recruiters office to join the Navy. The recruiter asked if I had any felonies or if I did drugs. I told him no. He then wanted to check my arms for needle marks and seemed surprised when there were none. He told me that I would have to that a placement test and that it could be hard.

So true with watching this, people hate and discriminate without ever knowing why because of ignorance so leave them thinking about their actions and see don't judge a person with the colour of their skin but show them we are all equals.
@beth-elrawlings16793 жыл бұрын
Apparently I am a bad person, because I would have demoted him and bought in other people to replace him. Because you see once you get a speck of cancer either it can spread or you can cut it out. So by keeping him there the cancer has a strong opportunity to spread. So apparently I'm a bad person.

@butterflykisses19843 жыл бұрын
Having your own opinion does make you a bad person, it simply makes you human. Firing Phil seems likes the easiest solution, however his mind is poisoned and he would carry that negative thinking to another company and spread the poison there. Some cancers can not be cut out but have to be treated as close to the root as possible. Educating Phil is the best treatment for him and should later down the line he quit or get fired he will have knowledge of what type of mentality he shouldn't have especially while at the work place.

I one time when working for Walmart had the HR manager refuse to take my transfer. I was trying to transfer from one store to another. I was trying to transfer to a store that was 2 and a half hours away from where I use to live. When I was trying to transfer to another store I was doing it over the phone. The HR manager told me that I need to open up my availability. I told her that my availability was 24/7. She told me that I need to open it up beyond that. Than she said that I had 10 absences. I told her that I only have one. I also told her that "if" I had 10 absences I would not been with the company any more because at that time you were only allowed up to 7. (Walmart keeps changing their attendance policy that it is hard to keep up). She than said that they need hard workers and not lazy ass people like me. I said to her "you have not even met me." I told my HR from my first store so she called over to the store that I was trying to transfer to and that HR give my HR the same run away. I think that she made the judgement about me because I am Asian. I did have a manager who refuse to promoted me because I am Asian. He said to me that "we don't want you to think we are being racist, a lot of people think that we are being racist, but we don't want you to think we're being racist." If it had nothing to do with race than why even bring it up. I was never thinking about that. I just wish that I had a tape recorder to record that conversation.

Horrible "human being"... before that MUCH-NEEDED, EYE-OPENING LESSON he fell under the category of those that won't teach you right because you won't get treated right. SO DAMN SICK of people like the interviewer taking ONE look at US & automatically assume we're somehow unworthy of RESPECT 😡

Vert outspoken, assertive, and in the most humble way, also maintaining this position after he was hired. I'm sure the interviewer learnt something. Thank you so much guys.

Sorry, I would have fired him. People like him will always try to sabotage him down the road. Racism is very deeply rooted and it takes someone sincere to get it out of you. This guy is only sorry because he got caught. Somewhere down the line as the other man brightness shines he will become envious and try and backstab him. I have experienced this and seen it many times over. Never trust a hater!
@septiawoman29113 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. Moreover, as the book, "The Art of War" states, "Learn EVERYTHING that you can about a known enemy before you engage him." I apply this principle, rather than "emotion" and it has always proven to be very beneficial to me--especially in dealing with racist behaviors from whites as well as other "white identified" ethnicities.
