My heart rate got up, specially when it became evident that he passed the harbor entrance and had more work to do. Bravo Zulu to all! There was a lot of expensive fiberglass around that undocking.

My home marina…..he did well. You always need propulsion in the marina due to currents flowing through marina.

So hard for new captains to understand to NOT use the steering wheel at docking speeds.

We teach twin engines gear - throttle use and then graduate to that PLUS rudder control depending on circumstances.
