I know where you are coming from. This song brought tears to my eye when it came out. Granted it came out in 1987, but in 12015 I took a TIA-stroke this and many more songs I could not listen to without breaking down to. Today I dedicate this song to all the little angels sent to Heaven in a horrible and untimely manner in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, , Africa, and everywhere else in the world... May our One True Lord receive them with all His love, and may He have mercy on all of us for not doing enough to stop this unprecedented and unjustifiable brutality.

I also think of all the mass shootings and how we've utterly failed the children. We as a society have not taken these words to heart.

Awesome songI am the head coach for an American Football Youth Program. We had practice today. The kids were having so much fun running and playing. They were joking, giggling and laughing. It was amazing, after all that pandemic madness and despite the current situation with inflation and war. So, when I came home after practice, I had this wonderful song on my mind and I had to listen to over and over again. PEOPLE - WAKE UP!!! WHAT LEGACY WILL WE LEAVE BEHIND FOR OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN?!? Spread this song and pray that we will come to our senses 🙏🏻 God bless you all 🙏🏻🫶🏻

This was a great song. The 80’s “glam metal” genre has not aged well, but dayyum, there were some amazing ballads. This is one of them.

Agreed. May I suggest the musician KNULP.. she does a wonderful version of this important song...

I feel like the genre did age well. Steel Panther is out there saving the genre and other acts like Motley Crue and Def Leppard are out there to. I’d say the 1980s was the truest decade of rock and metal music in my opinion. Rockstars acted like rockstars, had groupies, amazing solos and melody. There will never be a decade like the 1980s though :( I wish this genre would become mainstream again it had the best rock and metal music

A song that the whole world needs to listen to now, but to be fair, ultimately, I want the world where we don't need this song. I guess you know what I mean. "Men", don't start a war, don't make the children cry. - Mike and Vito wrote a heartachingly beautiful song.
