I accidently started to paint watercolors when I was 14 and my first set was White Nights 24 which I was just borrowing. Today I am 40 years old and have tons of different original pallets and custom ones of many brands but I always go back to White Nights, have right now I think like 54 colors palette with it and somehow they're just simply the best ❤ greetings to all watercolor lovers!

Again a great review! I am excited for the comparison with Van Gogh. I also own this white nights set (watercolor addict). I think the colours are quite good and as I know considered to be artist grade and lightsfast. But they really are different to work with and one has to get used to it. That is why I never use them together with other brands in one painting. But combining for example Schmincke with van Gogh in one painting works totally fine for me.

Interesting review. It would be fun to see you do a painting with them. 🙂. I've been using the 24 pan set and really like them. I've heard Veridian behaves like that with other brands as well. Other youtube reviewers have called them artist grade.

Thank you! I speak from the heart exactly what i feel about the paints. They don't seem to be artist quality except for few shades like the carmine, ultramarine etc. Am really not trying to sell anything here... instead i want to help everyone understand the colors without buying it😊

Hi, I can't decide which one to choose Mungyo 12 or White Nights 12? Price the same. Could you help?

Go for Mungyo. I just received my Mungyo set and I already own white nights botanical. I would say Mungyo is head and shoulder above WN set especially if you are a beginner like me. I say this because as a beginner I am not yet skilled enough to negate the drawbacks of my paints and secondly I don't paint on expensive papers. Both of these effects combine and make it harder for me to paint better with WN. It has these cons: it doesn't mix well which will result in making you make more attempts of correction which results in overwork. 2. It dries fast. I mean really fast. It overlaps by the time you reverse stroke. Pros of WN: 1. DOUBLE THE quantity and a better box 2. I received my WN on ordering SONNER BOTANICAL(they are from same company). For some reason the vendor, Sitaram sent me WN set which costs thrice as much. My guess is they are clearing stock because the packaging looks tampered and they have complaints regarding their Sonnet products. So if you can get this deal now I would say go for Sonnet Botanical (price 729/- for 12 full pans) Even if you don't get lucky like me, it's basically the same paint in worse package.

My pleasure.. i would like to give Van Gogh the edge over Rembrant as its a little more towards the artist quality. A personal preference though!
