In animal studies, white noise has been shown to be bad during early development. I think the idea is that the brain is learning how to do signal processing and differentiating different components of the sounds it's hearing, but since white noise has no pattern to it, it hinders the brain's learning of pattern recognition.

I’ve been using this white noise for 1 year now and I can’t go to sleep without out it🥹🫶🏽I struggle with relaxing at night. I have anxiety and I used to stay up for hours thinking way to much. I sleep with a fan because of the cool air… so I don’t get super hot… but if you have yalls on just for noise, then using this makes sense if y’all’s skin is drying out.. but I don’t have that issue, thank god… because I need my cool air to not overheat
