Smooth White Noise, Black Screen ⚪⬛ • 10 hours • No ads

⚠️ 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗗 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗗𝗟𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢? If so, I'm sorry that happened. I know it's awful to be startled by a mid-roll ad. I have them disabled on all of my content, but KZbin has a confirmed bug that causes them to play for some viewers anyway. It's not just my channel - this has been a problem across the entire platform since at least mid-2022. KZbin's engineers know about the bug and what causes it to happen, but unfortunately, they have not provided any information about when (or if) they will fix it. The bug tends to manifest as a 30-second mid-roll ad played around the 6-hour mark, and it disproportionately affects iPhone and iPad users. I have been investigating this for a very long time, and I go into more detail about my findings here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJXIhomdj7KbZ7s If you are affected by the bug but still want to access my content, I recommend that you view this video's description and try one of the alternatives I have provided, such as Spotify or Odysee. If you want to stay on KZbin, you'll find that I have live stream versions of my most popular content, and they tend to be safe from the bug - but not always. The only guaranteed way to never get ads on KZbin is to subscribe to KZbin Premium, which I understand is not an option for everyone. As it turns out, the reason I have the luxury of disabling ads everywhere KZbin will let me is because my channel makes the vast majority of its revenue from KZbin Premium. I have reviewed my analytics data and it appears that KZbin does not compensate me for the mid-roll ads in question, which I suspect is because their systems cannot reconcile the fact that a mid-roll ad played even though I have them disabled. You are welcome to reply to this comment with information about what happened to you, but at this point, we have a pretty solid understanding of what's going on and are just hoping it will be fixed. Historically, it helped when viewers would list what type of device they were on, which app or browser was being used, the approximate timestamp of when the ad played, and what company/product/service the ad was for. I appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter, and I'm sorry there isn't more I can do.

I’ve loved white noise and vent/air sounds my whole life (I’m 35). There’s pictures of me as a toddler passed out on hard wood floors laying next to a vent. I think it’s because I’ve had tinnitus my whole life. This video reminds me so much of sleeping next to an air vent-it’s the most relaxing sound in the world. The ringing in my ears disappears right away. I think I’m going to listen to this every night from now on. Thank you so much for this perfection!

I hope you meant listen not watched. I am imagining you staring at the dark screen for 1,000 hours! I put foam earplugs in and then my soft headband headphones over it and play this loud and add a sleep mask for nights when I must wake for work between 3:30 - 4:30 am as I flip flop schedules and sometimes work 2 - 10 pm. My body doesn’t like going to bed so early and sleeps lightly but this has helped a bunch.

This is, by far, the best white noise I’ve come across. I’ve tried others, as well as different nature sounds, like rain & ocean sounds, but they made me feel like I needed to pee, lol. Others had crickets...annoying! I have nothing to complain about with this one...it helps me fall asleep easily, and I sleep soundly all night long.

I've had this video up for something like 5 years now and the comments started out as a few thank-yous and some jokes (like this one!), but I've watched as people have come here to share what's going on in their lives, the struggles they're facing, and how a simple thing like some background noise on a KZbin video has helped them get through rough nights. And people read those comments from total strangers and offer condolences, best wishes, and so forth. I read every comment and am just blown away by how cool people can be sometimes. So while I'm not sure I'd call this a community, it is, at the very least, a very friendly place.

This is by far the best noise I came across. I have a two year old and this has helped him fall asleep every night for a full night of sleep since he was 6months old and still continues to do so. I always end up listening to this video and reading the comments. It’s such a safe place. I struggle with anxiety and this has helped me so much. When I’m having anxiety attacks I just play this and try to focus on my breathing. We hear the term "white noise" incorrectly used to define relaxing background noise, and most of us never dig deeper and discover what "true" white noise is by comparison (why would we?). Since that inaccurate description is what most people know and are looking for, I just went with it to make the video easier to find, as people aren't generally going to go searching specifically for brown noise or something. But, for those who do want the real thing, I did post some "true" white noise in all its grating glory!

I love the the EQ settings on the noise - it's nice and deep, and I really appreciate that it's super long and ad-free. It helps me sleep, and it also helps keep my dog from hearing neighborhood noise that makes him bark early in the morning. Excellent!

This is fantastic. It is absolutely the best white noise video I've found, and it plays for every nap time and every night. I was having phone trouble recently, and I wasn't worried about the fact that I need it for work and appointments nearly as much as not having this video. I live with numerous, loud people, and it muffles them into oblivion. Beautiful.

I just wanted to thank you ! Iam struggling with ADHD and doing my homework was always a nightmare because I just couldn't focus and it was depressing because I was feeling guilty about it all the time. I am now a college student and one day, one of my friend adviced me to try to work with white noises in the background. I tried withou any expectations and it was a miracle ! I am way more able to focus and to work for a longer period thanks to your videos ! I cound't believe it. I don't think I will be able to work without it anymore, it's like a dopaine for my brain. I never thought it could work. So thank you so much, I am still struggling a lot on daily basics but when it is about homeworks and studies, I have found my super hero !

Fun bit of trivia: this is the second time I've posted this video. The first time, I wasn't paying very close attention to the details and it actually did very brief pauses in it. When people started using it to help them sleep, they complained about those pauses and I decided to re-upload an uninterrupted version -- and here we are. 😁 I'm glad you were able to get some sleep (and shame on those people partying on a Sunday night, how inconsiderate!).

It's nice to hear that there's someone else who wakes up at the absence of noise! I used to have an "air conditioner" white noise CD that I'd play on loop. At the end, the pause before it restarts would wake me every time! This is night 2 with this video playing on earbuds. Works great!
