There are countless Hitler quotes that are actually insightful into the power of leadership, the future of youth, and the impact of words.....but HELL NO would I EVER post a hitler quote/video. I understand what Charlamagne is saying, but I think it's a little naive to consider everything in a vacuum. Life is interconnected in many ways, but it is a bit of a far stretch to say "why can't you accept the truth about this man talking about racism" when the man himself is (allegedly) bigoted in other ways. I think we all have many things to learn from many different people in many different walks of life.....but as Andrew said posting/liking is considered somewhat of a cosign. I am always in search of knowledge and sound opinions, but you can't look at things THAT separately IMO. The nuance comes from where you draw the line, not if there's a line at all. Just my thoughts 🤷♂️. Would be glad to hear other responses.

Ahhh the unforseen train crash when the different woke trains all collide at the same time. On one hand a great message by a black guy, but then misogyny (so feminism is at conflict), and anti-semitism. So which one cancels the other out? Charlamagne: "if a message touched you, should it impact you any less because of who it came from" I clearly remember him being a huge fan of Killer Mike, like what he had to say about black gun right, but didn't like that he gave that message on the NRA platform. Hmm some inconsistency here..

Real science is about facts. Art is about opinion/feelings. The sun is hot is a fact. I feel happy when the sun shine is a opinion/feeling. This ministers opinions are his opions/feelings. The fact is that lots of real Africans desperately want to come to America. The fact is those Africans that manage to get to the US out perform American blacks. Taking this into account the recommendation for American blacks is to drop their feelings and step up their output.

the neil degrasse comparison is too vague, and doesn't address the 'sharing/co-signing' point.... a more clear-cut example might be: imagine you heard a quote and you were like 'wow that's a great quote', so you post it online... and then someone tells you 'hey bro, that's a hitler quote'.... you gonna stand by THAT post? It's one thing to hear something and be like 'that's a good point', it's another thing to post it to your impressionable followers.
