Great idea with the sinker. I will try it next weekend at spring river. Shoul be able to make longer cast. Just what I need. I have good luck with shrimp for bait also.

I’ve used a bobber stopper instead of another split shot so that there is virtually no weight the fish picks up

If he’s keeping them idk why it matters haha, the fish prob goes through way worse conditions then being gilled anyway living in the river having to adapt to natural predators , it’s sad you cant even watch a fishing video anymore without seeing a way for someone to hate haha , smh ..
