I knew a guy in Brisbane Australia that drove one of these with a Detroit 8V92TA 475hp towing a quad axle float with dolly trailer in between truck. Gross weights at times were around the 100 tonne mark or 220 000 pounds.

I drove 2 different ones: the first one was powered by a Cat 3406b. The second one was powered by a 400 Cummins big cam 3. I loved that truck!

I have just removed the cat 3406a from my 1978 rc2 and fitted a silver92 detroit at 600hp, she lives again!!!!!!

the truck at 046 was mine in the 80s great truck i had it new but it belonged to partricks then i bought it off them but still worked for them running all over done well over 1000000 miles in it with out any problems
