Ingredients
Chicken shredded
Capsicum 1 small, chopped
Onion 1, chopped
Garlic 2 chopped
Chili Flakes 1 tsp
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
For White Sauce
Butter 2 tbsp
All purpose flour 3 tbsp
Milk 1 cup
Chili flakes 1 tsp
Oregano 1 tsp
Black pepper
Salt to taste
For coating
1 egg
Bread crumbs
Preparation
Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a saucepan and add onions and garlic. Cook till the onions are transparent then add capsicum chopped and cook for 2 minutes. Add shredded chicken, chili flakes, salt and black pepper.
Make the white Sauce by melting butter, add in flour and sauté on low till aroma of flour comes, add in milk and keep stirring till thick, using a whisk. Add salt, pepper, chili flakes, oregano and remove from stove.
Mix the thick white sauce and chicken and leave the mixture to chill for at least half an hour.
Shape into cutlets, dip in beaten egg, coat it with bread crumbs. Shallow Fry in medium hot oil and serve with your favorite chutney.
