I’ve recently just got iColor 560. I have only done t-shirts so far. The marrying process for the A & B heat transfers is a bit difficult to get right the first time but as long as you follow the manufacturers instructions you should be good. I’ve also done the split image feature on a few shirts and I believe it can only work well with certain designs that has a break somewhere in the middle. I’ve experience small gaps between the two sheets and it can be very noticeable. Its very difficult to match up the two split sheets seamlessly but I guess it’s something you need to practice with. I’m going to try making stickers next. Nice vid bro!

I have owned a white Toner for 5 months. I done my wash tests breaking ALL the rules and drying on HIGH heat. What I learned is that the instructions arent set in stone. If you know what you are doing you can get durable prints that can run with the big boys but you better have the RIGHT type of press and you must be willing to test a lot. Everything looks good after the press but what matters is how it holds up in the wash. Everything looks good and sound good. When I do the math this process average about 10 shirts per hour. You gotta be at minimum 100-200 shirts per hour in the print industry printing on a manual press. Auto press 400-600 shirts per hour. These white toner printers depending on the stretch and wash test, could be good for a small home-based t-shirt brand type business. I have a request..could you do a stretch test for cracking and too see if the design pulls apart? Screen Printing, DTF, DTG, Sublimation, all will stretch without cracking when done correctly. My issue with white toner was the cracking when stretched. The washablity was good on the shirts I tested. I tested some samples about 4 years ago, I want too see if they improved on the flexibility of the toner inks. One other issue was the toner and A/B sheets coast. How many shirts can you design on one set of CYMKW toner cartridges? What would you have too charge per shirt after all opration and overhead coast too make money?.. is another question. Excellent video

This business is so saturated you’re never going to make any money doing this, unless you have a few schools that want you to do there T-shirts in which case you would never use a garbage set up like this, direct to garment or DTG printers like avalanche or dye-sublimation to do entire shirt art, do you know where it’s printed all over the shirt. The cheapest way to get started is screen printing, you can get a three color set up really damn cheap it can get a bit messy though if you’re not a neat person, but this thing is garbage you can go to Michael’s or any art store and find sheets that you can print on and use the heat press like he has or a friggin iron, at the end of the day you’re not going to be able to compete unless you can get your T-shirts sizes up to 2X for less than a dollar each and total ink cost of about $.50 if you can do that then you might be able to compete, that’s the part I don’t tell you, you can get him to pad stamping pretty cheap 1200 bucks that’s where you put logos in all that stuff on mugs and lighters and pens

@@cole2943 I spent more time clearing clogs from the print head than actually printing t-shirts. It's a great technology but I jumped in a little early. @@AC-wp7em oh wow! Thank you for the in depth reply 🙌 I am considering a clothing line online / selling on Amazon. I'm planning on getting a DTG for new designs, and maybe screen printing designs that sell well? I'm worried DTG won't provide durability and will rack up negative reviews
@AC-wp7em3 жыл бұрын
@@cole2943 unless major advancements have been made, do not purchase a DTG if you are not printing throughout the day. Even back in 2013 the vendors report its fine to let the machine sit for a few days, turn it on and print, then turn it back off. That absolutely was not the case. If you have enough volume to justify buying your own, it makes sense, otherwise look at this option, or even outsourcing screen printed heat transfers, you can store those for a good long time and press them as the orders come in.
