Hi, ratio depends on wood, in this case 2l varnish and 1dc of white stain Varnish:a/c morrells and white stain bianco from tover.

What type of pine is this ? Did you ever have it splinter up on you during you’re final sanding stages?

Think baltic pine, yes sometimes splinter come up, but not small one but some big piece. But that happen ones a 100 jobs
