My father is a white Jamaican. From Mona heights which is funny enough the uptown section of Kingston. Which is much more diverse neighborhood. With whites, Chinese, Lebanese, blacks, Indians. But my father also has said growing up no one ever gave him crap for being white. Although he himself did notice he would definitely have favorable treatment over his fellow black and Indian Jamaicans. Everyone in Jamaican embraces each other. That's why Multi racial is the 2nd biggest Racial genetic group in jamaica. There are alot og mixed race families and relations in Jamaica. Outta many! One people!!

I must say my bredren looks pale and needs some sun. My skin tone is slighly darker than his and I am considered white in Jamaica. Hailing from St Elizabeth myself. Its odd that todays generation of people are shocked to find out that white people exist in Jamaica. We were there from the 1600's and 1700's both side of family dad and mom. For me I dont see Jamaica as a Black country but todays generation does. Oh well, is Black People time.

What did the Germans contribute to Jamaica? The majority of the contributions are from the melanated people of the island that was there long before your ancestors showed up and captured a part of St Elizabeth.
