The song is abaut Phil (singer) hating his stepdad and wanting to bring his parents back to life by sacrificing his stepdad to a ancient god. I recommend the whole Kin album its a banger.

The song is about his evil-self trying to get him to come back to the valley by resurrecting his parents so that his evil self won’t be alone because he is going fucking insane. This is all happening inside his head. His story telling is fucking crazy and genius.

Phil look so much like Demon Dean in this and I'm glad I'm not the only who noticed it The video is about an alternate version of Phil digging up his parents and sacrificed his step-dad ( because Phil hates his step-dad wirh every fiber of his being because he was an abuser and got his mom into drugs) to being them back ( he misses his parents so much, he couldn't take the lose anymore more), but they aren't truly back and are just empty husks and Phil moves them like a puppet ( which is they move around like that )

His evil self just won’t except the fact that his parents died and wants Phil, who has excepted it, to be in the valley with him.This is all happening in Phil’s head. He is beautifully tying this album with the last. His writing is pure genius.

Wow. You know given the song's subject matter this could be stupid. 99 percent of the time it WOULD be stupid. It's a testament to Whitechapel that they can take one if the most cliched horror tropes and make an intelligent song. That having been said I wanna see the Shawn of the Dead version. Great reaction!
