I think it's about Phil seeing those parents Evil Phil resurrected (reference to A Bloodsoaked Symphony) being shells of themselves, not his real parents, just moving creatures with no consciousness, after he switches realities with Evil Phil, pulling him back to the Valley. I'm curious what Evil Phil would do in Phil's reality.

This song is just simply amazing I been a fan of Whitechapel since day one but when that solo gets in my whole body gets goose bumps and Phill's voice is just wow he sounds better then most regular rock bands just cause he is mostly death core guy amazing

Glad to see I'm not the only one tearing up for the music video. It's such an amazing album, and I commend Phil and the others for their dedication to make music out of their hearts. The video just adds so much to the emotion, how vulnerable he looks, how he's hugging himself in despair and longing as he slowly accepts the fact that his parents passed away. I don't know how it feels like to be an orphan, but I know it's not easy to lose loved ones, especially if your parents passed away while you were young. Your reactions are so similar to mine. Thanks for the genuine review.

I love you guys! And I love this reaction. It’s such a powerful and emotional song. I agree with mat about Phil’s cleans though. Every time I get caught off guard when I hear them but I am here for it. Some of the best cleans I’ve ever heard and you can hear the emotion when he does them. Man I can not wait for Kin.

If you didn’t know of the band ahead of time and heard this song, you would turn it off within a minute. Very average metal ballad, maybe below average
