Mary- you are one of the first DIYers I started watching years ago. I was drawn to you because you are so grounded in your faith and family but so human as well. You aren’t afraid to show us who you are. I have thought a few times “Mary, get some help with that” and then chucked as I remind myself that I do the same thing. Your area of Ohio is one of my favorite places to visit so hearing about the weather, the different birds you hear and the nature around you always makes me feel like I’m on a short visit. Lastly, by all means shorten your video production and spend these last few months enjoying your son and being involved in wedding plans and all that go with such a special occassion. I really like the wood framed screen door. The sound of a wood door frame closing / tapping brings back great childhood memories. Also, the fresh air they let in cleans the space of stuffy microscopic organisms and promotes a healthier indoor environment. Perhaps the lattice could be attached with corner bolt locks in the summer and easily removed as wanted. It does promote a beautiful space.

Thank you, Mary, for a wonderful 2024 and even though you will be publishing fewer videos throughout the winter months, that will be good for you!!! I remember finding your channel right after I was diagnosed with cancer, 6 years ago, and I know I've mentioned this before, but you and a few other You Tube presenters have been with me every single week throughout these past 6 years. I came to rely upon each of you as part of my team of healers and as bad as things got with my treatments - I always had this marvelous group of DIY artisans to lift my spirits. I came to recognize a lot of other commenters and reading their brilliant and funny remarks surely did help me, also. We've become a long-distance family of sorts. As an older woman, more of a Mom's age, I sometimes have shouted at you when I see you doing dangerous stunts (not that you would think they are dangerous) but for heavens sake I am tempted to purchase a football helmet for you to wear when you use a ladder. I'm all for self-care and you deserve it more than most so please enjoy your time off because we're not going anywhere, either. We'll be patient and appreciate that you are getting things done and that's that. Give Pebbles and Twinkles a big hug from my Lola and Poppy, and me, too. 2025 is going to be wonderful.
