Me it's my landlord who's been after our appartment to make renovations for 3 years now. 2 years ago, he pretended that he needed to repossess, but shot himself in both feet saying things that made it clear that it was all lies and he just wanted us out of there to renovate. Eventually he probably figured out he had said too much and would be beaten in housing court, and let it go. He laid low for a while, but now two years later, after seemingly having put the whole thing behind us, without notice, he smacks us with another repossession claim. My feeling is that he thought that, since this time everything is being done 'by the book', we won't have any arguments against him... But he doesn't know that we recorded everything that happened last time, down to incriminating phone conversations. By now to us this is harassment, and we just smacked him back with a formal notice to cease said harassment and pay us damages... I'm pretty sure he won't have seen that one coming... ;) Anyway, good luck to you. I have raised my two boys and when my EX he's wife left him, i felt sorry for him he's mother told me to let the boys go stay with him because he was falling apart. 22 years after my boy's in their 40s during the covid come back to stay with me. They said Dad will sell the house and give us money to build here in your state for all us 3 . They tried to manipulate, bullied me, threatening me, trying to strange me, silence me, recording me on the phone me being angry screaming so they can use it against me to get my inheritance. Their father already have given money divorce settlement to her,they are getting money to buy a flat, he's son from he's second wife getting the house,but me I've been thrown under the bus left with nothing and on top trashing my rental property so I'll be homeless because i can't afford to fix the damages probably homeless leaving in the cardboard box somewhere under the bridge where ever the homeless people leaving.
