Could you please suggest a replacement or update the video to forewarn viewers who may end up spending countless hours online trying to duplicate your rig, when the parts no longer exist?

I wish they still made that part. Their replacement option doesnt have the rubber which is what I like the most about them. OMG, great job and motivation but I shoot with Sony A7III and never really need to rig up this much, this many additions really take away my creativity when shooting plus the weight... Hey buddy, I have a GH5 with Dual IS stabilization on both my camera and lens - I recently bought this gimbal - I was wondering if I can leave the Dual IS settings on when connected this gimbal or will have I to turn it off? I heard mixed reviews - some feel having all settings on will make it butter smooth whereas others say having Dual IS on will make it look unnatural on a gimbal. Your experience? 11:40 you seem to have it turned on?
@Whiteinrevery3 жыл бұрын
Id leave it on as long as the lens isn't super wide. Any lens wider than 20mm I would turn off IS as it look unnatural. I'd also turn it off if you are filming into the sun as the flare can look unnatural as well.
@michaelfireborn72174 жыл бұрын
I actually ordered the nato grips per your suggestion along with the cables however the nato grips blocking the gimbals movement IS NOT an advantage. The design of these nato handles by smallrig is flawed and they should be recalled. I'm returning mine today. You might consider taking this video down as this has been a big waste of time on my end. Anyone else who buys these damn nato grip handles by smallrig will not be happy.
@Whiteinrevery4 жыл бұрын
taking this video down haha. wow. ok it didn't work for you but helped so many other people. I literally explained in the video that the handles will stop the arm from going beyond that area so you knew that the nato grips block the gimbal movement. its an advantage because it keeps your HDMI cable from being pulled off and stuck so that's why I said it's an advantage. a lot of other people are happy with those handles.
