Is it generally more difficult for SHWs to lock out deadlifts? I know their larger size can compromise starting position, but it also seems like their larger quads make it more difficult to keep the bar over mid-foot during lockout. The knees unlocking seems like a way to compensate.
@zf621 Жыл бұрын
It depends on the lifter. Some of them can lock their knees with no problem while others can't. They can keep their knees locked if they don't lean any farther back (even at the slightest) and they'll stay locked but knowing IPF judges they'll just assume the hips aren't locked even if you're perfectly upright. It's a pretty tough situation.

Apparently it was that he wasn't deep enough on squats and his knees were unlocked on the deadlifts. His 440kg squat was the same as his 410kg (430 was definitely high) and his knees unlocking is not under his control due to how massive his quadriceps are.
