Pat Summit, the greatest basketball coach of all time.

The funny thing about it is after she passed, Auriemma said that privately they were friendly and had the utmost respect for each other. The public back and forth was purely two competitor's who were the top dogs going at it, and that they would talk privately afterwards. Watching her through the years on the court and hearing stories of how Pat Summit actually was off the court, I feel he is probaly telling the honest truth.

I don't get this thought process that it isn't okay for men to coach a women's basketball team. I get what he is saying, having a male coach instead of a female coach took away a job from a female, but there are a couple of issues with this. If you want to do away with discrimination, you have to get rid of it period. Not just where it is convenient or makes a pretty story line. If you want to apply this logic, then you have to also say women can't coach a men's team. I just think it is a narrow minded or lazy approach to the situation. Kim Mulkey I think handled it beautifully, and I have developed much respect for her. Pat Summitt truly was an inspiration and a force to be reckoned with. Her impact is still felt today.

It's her "Summer Look" from being by the pool. Good for her for taking time off from being "made up" during the off season. :-)

Nah, guy: It's called " a wiser ball coach"! Coaching isn't a beauty contest, so wrong sport if you haven't figured it out.
