Julian is a legend for looking at CDs instead of records. Let's be real. That's the real nostalgia of our generation.

these dudes look like the too cool for school boyfriends that my friends' roommates have. The type I would meet twice but whose record collection I would scope out when they're not around

I love that he's looking at CDs and in another video I heard him say he'd rarely been to record stores. I feel like it's such a poser move to be obsessed with records. If you were born in the 90s or late 80s, you grew up with CDs so idk why people act like they grew up on records. You likely were a CD person as a kid.

So you can't enjoy records if you didn't grow up with them? am I also a poser for enjoying 60's and 70's music?

The point austin was making is that these dudes have never shown any interest in records nor have they ever outwardly said that they use them, so for them to suddenly be super into records in this video seems fake (like something a poser would do) frankly I think records are pretentious as fuck, it's old technology that can be easily recreated and reproduced with modern day fucking technology. Hell it can be beaten by 50$ headphones and a cheap laptop. Fuck records, they are old and over priced because they are old, and people who claim they sound better are full of shit.
