I was there. I won two tickets from a magazine contest, and I sat at a table in the way way back with Jackie the Jokeman Martling. Wow I saw Harvey Weinstein in the bathroom. He gave off the worst vibes. She was right not to upset him, he would have ruined her career before it even started. Whitney was the stand out. She killed. I heard industry people raving about her set on the way out. The best joke she said that I can remember was: “Quentin has ripped of so many other movies, when I went on the internet to research him for this roast, and when I typed in ‘Quentin Tarantino,’ Google said, ‘Did you mean Brian De Palma?’”

She's trying so hard to pretend she didn't know the truth about those two guys back then, but her jokes make it so obvious she did. Who gives a shit, Whitney? You and a 100k other people knew back then and no one did anything cuz it wouldn't have worked. He'd have buried you. Don't play it off, it makes you look disingenuous.
@1977pawelos4 жыл бұрын
They would laugh about it probably. They were kind of proud of themselves. They treated that like a transaction and many women too. Felt shit afterwards and blame them for that feeling. There were probably some really dodgy stuff going on there like rape or close enough, but I think most of the time girls were selling their souls for career.
