I have seen this performance so many times. Please react to her singing 'In Return' live in Japan 1991. It's the one that touches me the most. The vocals are astonishing, but the conviction and sincerity in that performance are rare, even for Whitney.

she had such a pureness to both the vocal delivery and her emotion. She could connect the performance with the notes and the emotion....others could do some of these notes but whitney brought a sincerity. I did not know when I first watched this...the song was a remake so I thought she created it on the spot for that concert...haha I was so mesmerized and 30 years later I still am. RIP whitney
