So many Black women sound like queens to me. Voice is powerful but held back and it has a tone all of its own. I looked for this quality in the voices of women of other races, but it is just not there. It sounds like silk and grace. I dont have it. Maybe i could take voice lessons. I want to.

Whitney is not only the voice ..but she was so Beautiful ..Rip
When she sang subtle like that! you can tell why she was called THE VOICE! That tone was everything!

Only the best voices in the world don’t have to try to sound good. They don’t need to belt to prove they are good. They could sing something as simple as twinkle twinkle little star and blow us away.

i will never understand how someone gifted with looks, talent, charisma, and presence can just throw it all away for drugs. whitney had that one thing many singers couldn't beat: her live performances were as good, if not better than her recorded versions. why'd you ruin it, whitney, WHY?!

That was back when record labels made it mandatory to go through interviewing and public speaking grooming and training as ways of shaping their artist especially the younger artist
@mshonney692 жыл бұрын
Whtiney was groomed by her Mom growing up, and once she got her record deal,, groomed by Arista and Clyde Davis; so she was going to be groomed regardless.. They still develop artists in the industry now,, the title is called A & R, artists and repertoire. There also is the option to be independent or go with boutique labels, so there are more options for distribution deals and more independence for artists today.

The reason why Paul Shaffer is so successful, and so respected, is because he is a true fan of the music and the artists. He is an incredible talent, and worthy of hanging with Whitney for kitschy little gigs like this. This is an outstanding little bit of fun memories.

I don’t know why white people feel as if they have the right to treat Black people any type of way…and feel like they are a privilege to us Blacks. Clearly, he was being inappropriate and even more clearly, I could sense that Whitney felt VERY UNCOMFORTABLE with a white man kissing her in the mouth! Throughout this entire video, you could see him being a pervert and very suggestive towards Whitney. Watch the way she jumps EVERYTIME she has to look at him or he moves near to her! It’s disgusting!
