The most beautiful instrument the world will ever see. People don't sound like that, and even if they did, the odds to be able to USEEE such a voice like THAT?!
@willfeen10 ай бұрын
Whitney said she never doubted she would be the greatest, because: 1) she knew she had a gift from God and 2) she wanted desperately to share the gift with the entire world. She also said, when she sings a love song, she is not thinking about 1 person, but “people in general.” We get to hear the sound of God coming onto Earth because of this woman’s dedication and faith and love. We should all follow our calling and shine our lights like that :’)

The absolute brilliance of Whitney Houston. Her voice is like liquid gold. Her beautiful presence with her voice and an orchestra and I love how she directs the Orchestra while she's singing. She knew she was going to sing the hell out of that song, you could tell by the look on her face before she started. She took that song to a whole new level.

I was shook when I saw that a full performance had been found. I'm glad you're seeing it as well and reacting to it. It's just stunning. Her mannerisms and her vocals, especially during the Bodyguard era, had a sort of humble cockiness to them, idk how else to describe it, that is just precious to witness. I enjoy it so much

My understanding is that Bebe Winans wrote the lyrics to the song. Whitney sung this song at a HIV/AIDS benefit for persons who had lost their lives. The song is also appropriate to the world in our lost /grief of our beloved Whitney. Whitney was a gift from God to all of us as he wanted us to know the peace and joy of His love for us through music. I often think of why Whitney seemed to suffer so in life - much like Job. I don't believe that she was resisting God's love for her. She was fighting off the devil's attempt to take her from God. She never gave up. She fought through it all and she will be rewarded. We miss/love you Whitney and we look forward to hearing you sing in the heavenly choir.
