I will always remember whitney for her contributions to the music industry globally; her charitable contributions to humanity that she never once publicised; her selflessness that contributed to her running herself into the ground as well. The media didn't like Bobby and Whitney together even before they got married and I hate how people always questioned her choice "why him?". They were trying to make him feel like he wasn't in her league, call him "Ms Houston". All these things frustrated him and he put his frustration on his wife. But Bobby's behaviour didn't help himself (too young, big ego and immature). They might be not right for each other, but they loved each other. I'm glad that he become a better man!

Whitney grew up in a big beautiful house with a swimming pool in East Orange New Jersey (which was a really nice suburb back in the 60s and 70s, but went downhill from the mid 80's onwards). She was born in Newark but she was out of there by the time she was 5! Don't let the media fool you! Yes Whitney understood the streets, but she was not raised there. She was fairly priveleged (albeit bullied) and sheltered growing up (which sadly I think contributed to her difficulty in handling the harder parts of her life). Remember her mother was a renowned background singer and her 1st cousin is Dionne living legend Warwick. Who btw, took Whitney on your with her every summer when she was a little girl. Whitney also went to private school in Caldwell and travelled the world as a child and teenager before anyone knew her name. We all have our struggles... it's just devastating how her (and subsequently her daughter's) story ended.

whitney targeted Bobby. he was just a kid. she manipulated him and he was sucked into being her drug supplier. he was a great artist but it all went down the drain. don't blame Bobby, he was just a kid.

Which kid ? Lol. The dude had already 2 kids from different women and acted like a though guy. It's true that he was too young and immature when they got married, but he was the one who proposed to her (twice), so he knew what he was doing. Whitney should have known better though, he was too immature and promiscuous ( what did she expect?).

I watched and listened to each Whitney and Bobby biopic, and every one shows Whitney pursued Bobby (she purposely bumps him at an awards show). A real relationship starts when a man is fascinated over a woman, and then he approaches her. She pursuing him does not create a real relationship. A relationship has a higher chance of lasting for years when he and she met, because, he initiated the meeting. Advice: If he does not pursue, do not make him, by bumping him.
