They actually met each other through the "Prince Of Egypt" movie soundtrack to make this legendary duet and ended up winning a friendship that lasted until Whitney passed away and an Oscar for best song. While their fans argue about who's the best they'll always have this song. I love Mariah more not gonna lie, but they're both special to me, in different ways.

Great reaction man! This song always hold a special place in my heart. My sister and I didn't have much in common growing up (we were 9 years apart) but she has always been an excellent singer. “When you believe” was the first duet I ever did in public with my sister (like a talent show or something). I think I was 8 or 9 years old. She taught me most of what I know about singing. (unfortunately, I'm no Mariah Carrey though. I sing alto 😂) We've done other duets, but not many because performing isn't really my thing. But now that we're both adults, we currently live in different continents. Whenever I miss her, I play this because it's "our song".

Men that listen to female singers reflect their appreciation of women period. Too many men only listening to men singers reflect their own self love.We need to go back to a time when men truly loved women and weren't trying to be a thug to impress the guys.Real men put ladies before the fellas.

There is some amazing music on that entire soundtrack to The Prince of Egypt! Trust me, you should watch the movie and hear all the beautiful music. You are religious so the story of Moses will be something you won't be able to forget. Then if you enjoy that I highly recommend watching Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat which also has great music and is actually a Broadway musical that they filmed with Donny Osmond as Joseph. Absolutely wonderful music and artistry and story telling. Especially enjoyable if you are a music head too!!! 😁👌🏻❤

5:20 Only thing wrong with this is that they don't include the 'Ashini L'Adonai' song they were singing in the middle of the song in 'Prince of Egypt' which it turns out is an actual Hebrew song 'I sing to the lord' which also sounds a little similar in places to 'there is a happy place far far away' (don't know which one was written first). We hear it instrumentally granted but I'd have liked to have heard the words.
