This performance proves anyone who denies that she is the best singer to ever grace a mic! 🎤 Okay and not just this performance she has truly always gave all of her to the music. There are a lot of talented singers out there no doubt you got a lot of greats who can belt and hit 5 octaves i do not care if you do not have the emotions to not only sing the song but to understand the song and place your life into the song then you are just simply reading song lyrics. Whitney had it all the voice, the emotion, and the soul to touch millions of lives. That is why she will forever be a global legend and a musical genius.

Angela Wagner Glennis is nowhere near to Whitney. Whitney has more talent in a strand of her hair than Glennis has in her entire body. Have you see. Glennis sing this song? Or A Quiet Place? Or One Song? No because Glennis can’t produce the soul and depth of those songs like Whitney showed. It’s ridiculous to think Glennis is in any way close to Whitney.

Jo Buck87 maybe you should listen to her
@jobuck8794 жыл бұрын
Angela Wagner I did and she’s not that impressive. I watched her on AGT and I agreed with everything they said about her, she needs to find her own voice. She tries so desperately to imitate Whitney and it comes off as her singing karaoke. She has no depth nor soul to her voice. She only tries to emulate Whitney’s looks and sound. Whitney was greater in both aspects. Glennis belting is forced and she looses pitch, Glennis has no head voice, and Glennis cannot sustain anywhere close to Whitney.
@tmason34094 жыл бұрын
@@jobuck879 Thank you! I just don't get the hype behind her. She is cool, but not even close to being on Whitney's level to me. I don't hear it or feel it. I felt Whitney's voice immediately when I first heard her. No one can do what Whitney did when it comes to vocals.

“You better growl!” Lol. Early in her career Whitney could growl like a bear. My dad was (RIP Daddy) a musician and he would often listen to our music and the first time he hears Whitney he sat up and he listened...really listened...and his exact words were..”this little woman will make her impact on the world ”. When the Bodyguard came out and I Will Always Love You was ruling the charts he said..”I knew this woman was gonna make her mark on the world and nobody will ever touch her voice”. My dad was heavily into blues and he loved the music of the 70’s, for him no other music mattered...besides gospel...thank you Dad for sharing you knowledge and your love of music with me.
