@@joaojesus8401 always 🤫 but then we listen to WYB. This presentation I found a bit all over the place and her mic was a bit low. Don't like how she speed up vocals. I mean, she's great. But in the beginning I personally think Mariah performs better because she produces and arranges Melodies, and makes some improvements like. Whitney has a different style, maybe more gospel, and changes things. I can understand Whitney's fans because she has a beautiful, powerful and bright voice. Lots of her ballads are really portentous and beautiful. Mariah is more versatile, and a more thorough artist. She has incredibly rich, versatile vocals. Whitney is a staple in Black, gospel-inflicted singing. I could go on, but that's unnecessary. Whitney had a really beautiful shine, rich performance, a great stage persona, and one of the grestest voices to ever exist. No wonder we always talk about vocal trinity, along with Celine! 🩷

Yes! I’m watching the vocals. Not be nitpicky, because I love Whitney, but I think Cissy and Robyn mentioned this period in their books respectively. This performance was fairly soon after miscarriage, and I think she was ill. She pre-recorded her live vocals I think, because if you watch closely to the opening medley, she’s actually doing some of the best lip syncing she’s ever done because she was such a live singer. But watch close, she’s missing some of her ad-lib runs. Although it’s not a “studio” vocal…the pre-recorded live vocals are fantastic and I can tell she’s putting on a great show, as she always does.
