Whitney Houston could take anybody song and make it her own, that's her lyrical genuis!

Starr Hines her renditions are always good. Is this the same night she sang People by Striesand? The reporters talked through it. They didn't want the public to hear her out shining their Jewish princess.

@@GregoryCurtisRogersPark Gregory come back to reality. Love Stevie but there's no comparison and he and knew it. Watch how he performs live with her in multiple performances everyone has their lane and this woman was song personified. The artists song is no longer there's after Whitney covers it just ask Ms dolly parton. 🙂

Actually her last concert date at Radio City Hall was September 30, 1994 Friday, she did this concert on Tuesday October 4, 1994. She basically had no vocal rest from back to back dates in September. People do not understand how hard this lady WORKED!

Don’t forget after this performance Mandela asked if she could perform in South Africa an entire leg was added onto her tour that was not planned after this night. She performed in South Africa in November of 1994 in Cape Town , Johannesburg , and Durban! 1992-1994 In the words of Whitney herself she was on a “whirlwind”

I think it was because the band was stripped down to just keyboard, guitar, bass and percussion/drums and saxophone. In a sense, Whitney's voice was on full display without any "distractions". But yeah, she sounded good as always and it was intimate sets like these that she loved performing in.
