The fact that she stood up there each night, all around the world and did her best is amazing. I can't even imagine how difficult it must have been for her to sing the songs she had sung so many times, but not be able to sing them how she wanted to. The fact that she completed the tour and did not give up makes me idolize her even more, because the amount of strength that would take is something I can't even wrap my head around. And to everyone commenting that the drugs caused the decline in her voice, you are wrong. It was the cigarette smoking that was preventing her from hitting certain notes. Had she lived to achieve her goal of quitting cigarette's and working on her voice, there is no doubt in my mind that she would have gotten back "The Voice". Maybe she wouldn't have gotten it back 100%, but I bet at least 90%. If you have seen all of her performances from this tour and her televised performances during the "I Look To You" album timeframe, you would know that at times it was almost as if "The Voice" was back. If only she hadn't left us so soon. 😥

True. Her voice singing in the Sparkle film was in a good condition. Her vocal coach even said that he had been able to restore at least 70% of her voice through exercises and vocal warm ups. I could only imagine if she hasn't gone on a world tour for I look to you and just took out some time and did a Vegas residency. It would have been beautiful. But I know that she has her voice in it's angelic state in Heaven. You can only imagine what she sounds like singing to God 🙏

The ending was absolutely amazing, maybe even better than the original. I think she is working super hard and finding her voice again, i think she was definitely praising god after those notes came out so clearly. I really hate that everyone comments "She can't sing" "She's through" probably without actually watching much of the video! I went to Glasgow and can tell you that she really is great live, and the media have really publisized the bad performances of this song... from either when she was ill, or from the concerts where her voice was tired from the horrendous travelling she did because of the ash cloud (12 hour bus journey's etc). She still has it! :D

I agree that what most likely caused the damage to her voice were cigarettes. I only say that now after I saw and heard for example, the damage that cigarettes did to the voices (singers and non-singers) of other celebrities like Lucille Ball. It had to break Whitney's heart that she lost that voice and it never came back. But regardless, she is and will always be a legendary singer. RIP Whitney.
