Whitney was simply one of not the best singer of all time. Her range, tone, flourishes, power, belts. Simply she was like no other in terms of her ability to exceed her studio recordings LIVE. I saw her twice live and it was magical. I miss her so. 😢

@@themeagler It was a beautiful experience! I saw her in 94 at Radio City Music Hall for The Bodyguard tour and in 86 for The Greatest Love of All Tour in NYC. Words cannot describe how breathtaking she was. She sang her songs differently every show lol. And each rendition was amazing! One of my fondest memories was her coming out singing Wanna Be Where You Are acapella during the tour. Baby, you could hear a pin drop. She went up and down those scales with such precision, such clarity, such resonance. When the curtains went down everyone on my row was like, “wow”. The 80’s and 90’s was a great era of music. I also saw Micheal Jackson, Prince, Phil Collins, Luther Vandross, and Freddie Mercury in concert. Legends. All of them.

This was a concert she did for our troops i the gulf war. This concert was her first HBO concert out of 3! This was the highest viewed HBO concert for years! She also did the star spangled banner Here as this was right after she did it at the superbowl!

This is the same year 1991 that Whitney sung the US National Anthem at the Superbowl.... that could be a reaction video though it is short... Also here 80s iconic pop hit and video.. "I want to Dance With Someone" from 1987 as one of the Greatest Pop songs of all time. Hard to get to do Whitney though on youtube.... good luck. This live was awesome yes....
