I say this as someone who values Whitney’s character… I can only watch her podcast every few months now if I really love the guest, but even that has become a challenge. Every episode is Whitney talking about herself, cancel culture, and trauma. It feels like her interviews come from a place of needing validation, otherwise she’d let someone get more than 5 words out. Everybody has been commenting this for over a year.

@carolyntalbot9473 жыл бұрын
Evidently plenty of you _are_ talking about it. I'm curious, why do you think you know Chris D'Elia better than Whitney Cummings does? What is your insight into the situation/accusations as a fan of D'Elia (and total stranger to both parties) and what should she have done and said considering that he was a friend and colleague whose career she helped to build? What was Whitney's responsibility to the young women making the allegations, and what exactly do you think they gained by coming forward? What proof would be required for you to believe them, and if they fall short of that proof should they shut up and abandon any responsibility to warn or prevent future victims?

Change your mind when you get updated information...Most of the more severe illnesses happen to people by surprise, unexpectantly, impacting first in the brain, then in the corresponding organ which that part of the brain controls. The end of WWI had absolutely everything to do with the Flu and lung TB outbreak that occurred killing millions. In nature, the biological conflict linked with a territorial fear (just what it means-a fear in your territory, your home, your community, etc.) is a widening of the bronchia (tissue loss). Your body attempts to widen your bronchia in order to allow more air into your lungs to give you more strength and energy to fight to keep your territory safe. Stay with me.......The biological conflict linked with a death fright impacts the lungs. The lungs attempt to grow larger in order to allow more air in because breath equals life, as we all know. No breath equals death. While you are in the fear or death fright conflict, you notice no symptoms of “disease”, except you have cold hands, cold feet, you can’t sleep, you awaken at 3 AM every night, you have little appetite. During the war, millions of people were in fear of the bombing of their homes and cities where the war was most active. Fearing for their lives, their loved ones in the war, their ability to survive. The food in the stores was sparse due to shortages. This lasted for 4 long years! The longer the conflict, the worse the healing phase. Within 2 weeks of the German Chancellor announcing the end of WWI, these millions of people ALL went into the healing phase all at the same time. It is during the healing phase that you experience symptoms of illness! What is the healing phase of the bronchia widening? Severe bronchitis, pneumonia. The body attempts to refill this lost tissue and you experience inflammation, fever, coughing, body aches, fatigue, etc. What is the healing phase of the extra lung tissue that grew? Decomposing of the tissue by TB bacteria and fungi. The symptoms of this healing phase are: severe coughing up of blood and tissue, fever, inflammation, severe mucous, body aches, fatigue. During this decomposing of the extra tissue (tumor), the body expels a lot of protein, and without replenishment, severe protein loss can result in death. Antibiotics did not exist yet. If TB bacteria does not exist in a person or they have been vaccinated against TB (big mistake), then the tumor will simply encapsulate and become dormant and not harm you. Who died during the Spanish Flu? Mainly the poor who could not afford to buy meat and proper nourishment, and the people who were directly impacted by the bombings and destruction of their homes. Millions of people suffered fear and death frights during the fighting of WWI, and millions of people all went into healing at the end of it. Not everyone was affected because not everyone suffered the same way. It’s not a “flu”, it’s not something you “catch”. It’s biological, meaningful, and unavoidable. One hundred years later, a Fear Campaign begins, using the media to spread it......

she has her guests to give her chance to talk ... about herself to put her in all the attention, her guests are the background she uses to shine, they are there just for the context. she asks questions to hear her own opinion & to be heard.... there are no interviews with guests it's witney's chance to express herself masquerading it as interview ... with other ppl where she is the main focus & guest. she is like the friend who invites to see you & hear how you are doing but then talks only about themselves, without any interest in you - you are there to hear about them. now with new hair she has a new voice & way of mimicking - looks like she tries very desperately to jump in your face.

“Cancel culture is only a thing cause comedians talk about it all the time” *Continues to talk about cancel culture for 30 minutes*
@AdeptSnake3 жыл бұрын
Whitney's take on cancel culture (@26:26) was one of the dumbest things I've heard all week. A year ago she thought cancel culture was just some public shaming and that's it? It's always BEEN about getting a person's sponsors pulled, getting them fired from their job, etc, for the better part of 10 years. I don't even hate her or anything, but that particular take was just...dumb. Like it's only real once you realized it could actually happen to you?
@malkinmalone3 жыл бұрын
Cancel culture has always been a thing even before twitter. Comedians act like they can’t tell the jokes they want to tell because of cancel culture. There has always been jokes that people find offensive and public figures have always lost money from potential advertisers for the way they look in the public eye. Its nothing new. I think its just difficult to deal with people messaging their inbox about something they find offensive. To me that doesnt really have anything to do with being cancelled. 40 years ago if a celebrity was accused of sexual assault on tv news or in the newspaper they would have lost lots of money.
