Seriously, having Timmy's commentary is GOLD people! Not only is he now married to one of the stars of The Hills, BUT he also worked behind the camera on reality TV so he's able to give us special insight to what may have gone on bts, and why something in the scene may have gone down. He's also a FAN of the show, so having his "reaction" alongside Whitney's is like next level insight and commentary. If you can't appreciate that, then don't ruin it for the rest of us who do. I think it’s really healthy he not read the comments if he can’t emotionally handle them. If he doesn’t want to hear other perspectives because it makes him insecure then that is his decision to make. Some people read their comments because they like engaging and seeing things in different perspectives, but Timmy acts hurt and defensive a lot. It doesn’t seem to serve him so might as well stop reading the comments. It isn’t fun for him. He takes it too personally instead of it seeing it as being fun and engaging with a community. It’s probably for the best he stop.

The Hills was such a centerpiece of 2000s pop culture that opinions from the fandom are strong and cemented. Even Kitson was selling Team Lauren and Team Heidi shirts back then, it was that major. And because the fans have never gotten much clarity on what was real and fake, I think people cling to their opinions from back then even more. Kudos to Whit and Timmy for navigating this complicated series and making hilarious reaction videos to lift our pandemic spirits! It's a tough job and I hope it gets easier!

It sounds like the comments were hitting harder because Timmy was already having a bad week. When I read through the comments I see people commenting on the opinion, not Timmy himself. I think it’s good to seperate discussion about an opinion and disagreeing with it, and hate/negativity towards a person. I enjoy these videos but rarely agree with Timmy. I completely agree. The comments were reacting to his opinion and weren't attacking Timmy personally. I also rarely agree with Timmy and still enjoy watching the videos. I do think that if he is that sensitive about the comments section who should refrain from reading it and continue to voice his opinion.

The reason why I started loving your reaction videos is because you're both honest with your opinions. I've never once found anything that Timmy has said offensive or rude. I just think he's coming at it from a different perspective, and that's fine. Please don't let a small minority affect how you continue to do the series, just stay true to yourselves. On another note, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the effort you put into this series, I know it can't be easy. Just remember that it's brought so many people joy in such a crappy time.

The fact that Timmy was insulted on so many levels, hurt me too. I’m getting sad at the fact that my FAVOURITE thing on KZbin is at risk of being cancelled all together because of these people getting way too invested in the problems that were forever ago. Started binge watching the hills a couple weeks ago and ended up here. All I have to say is I relate to Timmy's desire to be understood on such a deep level that I physically made my husband watch the intro to this and we both freaked out about how his communication is so relatable. In conclusion, I don't know if this comment will ever be seen, but appreciate the honesty and vulnerability. Also, I loved Whitney so much in the hills and when I found this channel I cried happy tears. This series is best case scenario for me, post binge. So happy to see her living her best life.

This opening made me so sad. I haven’t been leaving comments because I’m just not that bothered. I was a typical Lauren lover and really disliked Spencer back in the day and sometimes I’ve really disagreed with some of the opinions said in the reactions but I know it’s just an explorative guess with the information you’re given while just having fun with your own background in production. I’ve really enjoyed learning about the background in how reality shows work and honestly have had a lot of my own validations confirmed by all the cut scenes and reactions being faked by video editing. Anyway I’m only one person but I felt I should tell you guys that people who are mad are more likely to leave mean comments and people who are not bothered won’t leave comments. So I think you guys are seeing an unfair amount of negativity that doesn’t represent the true collective of people who are watching and really enjoying this series. Love you guys.
