Laguna Beach, ESPECIALLY season 1, was so genuine and real... there was a whole part of an episode where Lo was trying to convince Lauren's parents that she should be able to not be grounded even though she got all C's. It was actually "reality" tv.

Agree! And since there was no social media (even MySpace wasn’t around yet if I remember correctly), that changed the game too. Laguna S1 was really unique. Even S2 was different because they were all famous at that point so there were crowds when they were filming and they knew how successful the show was so it didn’t feel as natural and genuine.

I really hope you guys do Laguna Beach. I think that you would bring a really interesting perspective to it after discussing Lauren on The Hills. Also these kids on the show are so interesting and their teenage years are so nostalgic for most of your viewers. We see Heidi, Jason and Jen! Bunney! all in their younger years pre Hills drama. It’s a good link between the reaction series. Just like The City has links to The Hills. The interactions between the cast are just as, if not more, raw and real. Watch a little bit of Lauren and Jason’s fight on Season 2 Episode 15 - you won’t regret it!

@hawazen j Two videos ago people were saying things like Timmy doesn't understand female relationships or women based off his commentary on lauren. That's not correcting someone that's a pretty harsh judgement from people, just because they didn't agree with what he thought Lauren's intentions were, even though he declared previously that he was speculating. It was an overreaction to say the least and timmy has ever right to be hurt about that and express that. Also @Good Riddance your right under this weeks and last weeks a lot of positive responses, which timmy mentioned in the being of the video in the pink writing, obviously after having viewed the comments under last weeks video. However this is filmed straight after last weeks episode you can tell by their clothes and also they have stated explicitly at least twice that's how they film these reaction videos. Therefore timmy in the video is not referencing last weeks video comments but the comments before that, which do contain people misunderstanding him and making harsh judgements and accusations that are unfounded and hurtful.
