for the verse of the song, the first chord is a G, followed by D/F#. it's basically just a D chord with an F#(6th string 2nd fret) bass

yup, i use a C9 or sometimes referred to C2 after the G. it is played almost like a G chord ,except you move your middle and index finger to the 5th and 4th string respectively

if you don't have a capo, you can play the song with the same chords, just that it will be in the key of G instead of A. So, the song will be lower.

hi, if you want to play it without a capo, just play the exact same pattern. You'll be playing the song in the key of G instead of A.

@cavite22 hi, the strumming pattern i used is D,D, DU. You have to count 2 beats, (the 1st and 2nd D is on each beat). The DU is like the joining strum to move on to the next chord.

hmm, i'm not sure either. cause the intro portion and everything else is actually more piano-based. but i guess you could play the same chords as the acoustic guitar.

I am playing it in the wrong key only because my voice can't reach the key of B. It's too high for me. It's alright though, all you have to do is to move the capo up 2 frets and play the exact same chords in this instructional.
