You could say Xi is experiencing a "brown-out," which is what we call a partial power outage. It's when power is weak but not completely off. So, things like lights go "brown." It's to imply it's not a complete "black-out." 😏

Also, there is only one woman Sun Chun Lan on the 25 member Politburo. Mao saying “women hold up half the sky” was more a push to get more physical labor in the fields during the revolution rather than a push for equality. And I would not assume a women is in power is China is going to reverse how repressive the country has become and not just maintain the status co.
