I would give a special mention to John Davis and Motorweek. This show started the trend of regular televised automotive shows in 1981 and it’s still going strong today, still hosted by John Davis who is 76 years old. Granted, Motorweek has used the same muted format which is decidedly “campy” in today’s modern age but make no mistake. EVERY automotive youtuber owes him a debt of gratitude for the trail he set in this industry. He’s not the flashiest guy and he doesn’t display a lot of emotion but you know exactly where he stands and gives you a perspective about cars that’s cut and dry - no more, no less. LIve long John and never change!

They're my favorite because of the authentic content for some time now. Real world advice that sometimes doesn't fit in the popular consensus. They are real car guys helping out real car guys. The jokes are low brow but top shelf. I could rant like a schizo about all the positive qualities of the channel. Their stickers are the only ones allowed on my cars- that KYS sticker makes the Mustang pop 😅

Shmee is probably the most respected and privileged KZbinr among all the major car brands and gets to experience opportunities other car content KZbinrs can only dream of. His knowledge, [no nonsense] and professionalism when reviewing cars is on another level. Matt Watson for the, on the edge of your seat exhilarating drag races Tyrell's Garage for his expertise and mechanical knowledge. Matt Armstrong for his down to earth, honest humour, and all round great entertainment.
