Common mistake. It isn't an anti-"material" rifle. Materiel (with an E) refers to military equipment and machinery. It's a rifle for shooting engine blocks out of trucks and buttons off of blouses.

Boone is almost like turning god mode on. With the right sniper or explosves build along with him the game gets so easy even on Very Hard. I have to force myself not to use him as he makes the gsme just too easy. This is overall a great list. As always thanks for the video!

Boone's suicide attack ending needs more attention, I think. It says he killed "scores" of legionaires before being captured, meaning he killed a MINUMUM OF 40 of them, which is absolutely insane in the fallout universe.

They're crap at making games, pretty clearly. I mean, really, they turned the perfectly solid chaingun from 3/Vegas into a NERF toy come 4... But somehow made it an insane chainsaw. Nevermind losing all the gear Vegas added, and some of what 3 had. Better question: Why did they go the Borderlands approach to 4's weapon pool, where there's a billion meaninglessly tweaked versions of the same dozen guns?

32:02 I know in Vegas you can snipe people from outside their render distance, I’ve only managed to do so from the cliffs north of cottonwood cove and from the machinery in the middle of quarry junction because those were the only places I knew enough about the enemy movement to guess with my shots and hit them from where I couldn’t see them alongside having a clear “line of sight” for the shots to travel Might be possible in 3 if the engine is the same but idk where you’d test it

My first FO4 playthrough was a sniper/stealth build. Then I got the Gauss Rifle and I was really popping domes left and right. After that, I've retired the good and reliable hunting rifle after lasting me pretty much the whole game.

Knight Cpt Dusk says she wants to test enclave power armor with hollow point rounds which make no sense, hollow points are meant to do the most damage against unarmored soft targets. She needs to be using armor piercing rounds against enclave. She lost some credibility in my book for that line.

For some reason, Barney Rook has been dead whenever I've visited Salem in my latest playthroughs. Not sure why, his gate has been locked every time, and he _should_ have been safe from the 'lurks. Edit: A few times I've made MacCready the leader of the Minutemen Rangers, a unit of elite scouts and snipers. Speaking of MacCready, I think it's weird that after helping him find the cure for his son, the kid is never mentioned again. I would _really_ have liked if his companion quest was followed up by his son showing up in the Commonwealth some time later, either moving in with Daisy in Goodneighbour or in a settlement of our choice.

Yes, that's a super common bug, happened to me just recently. Chances are, he spawned in and bugged out, dying immediately. In that case, you may have been able to find his body lying on the overhang above of his front door, where he'll fall after dying in the attic. It's possible for him to bug out entirely and never spawn, but apparently it's much more common for him to simply be dead already. In that case, you can just loot the keys off his body and finish what would have been the quest.

Interesting realization (which I blurted out at video because of course, that's totally how comments work): Sniping excellence does not equal kills. Sniping excellence equals accuracy. It's about putting the round where you want it, not the resulting injury. The point of the sniper is mainly to create action at distance. When I'm fighting a Radscrorp with a skull and a star and a teddybear (it gets confusing, the icons, sometimes) next to its name I prefer to be a mile away on a ledge. Then the game becomes becomes ammo v hits.
